I don't think it matters a lot if a guy is asian. If he asked me out and was a gentleman, I could care less about what continent he's from.
However, asians don't really look like anime characters. I'm pretty sure asians don't have eyes that are large enough to take over their foreheads.

In Australia, there is a stereotype that asian girls are looking out for white boys.

Which is quite true. Though a lot of the time, she's just a toy and he's lacking in commitment.

That's probably because asians have no souls.

The reason why the anime fans are dating them is probably because asian girls are often "easy" and the fact that anime nerds have no reproductive system.
