i have seen a couple vidoes of the beta and it looks great to bad i don't got a XBOX 360

Playing it now. It's fun, but alot harder than Halo2.

I am not sure if my friend downloaded it as of yet, Microsoft was having some issues, I believe solidsnake526 is bs'ing.

I'm not. Go here. Find my gamertag in the thread (SOLID SNAKE 526 - should be the third down or so). Click my name (it is a link to my Xbox.com profile). It should say "Playing Halo3 Beta." If it doesn't, it's because my system froze and I just had to restart it. Xbox.com is a little slow to update. Check again in a few minutes. But I do have the beta. The new Assault Rifle is weak by comparison, but it does have acceptable range. The bubble shield is pretty cool, but the chat system is annoying (hit a direction to team-chat...).

{Edit}: Damnit, you jinxed it. Now the beta is going mental on me. But Bungie still has me on record as having played the game.

I heard that microsoft was having problems too, i have the download but i'm holding off on downloading it until they fix the problems.

i liked it better than halo 2

Of course the gameplay is better than Halo 2. The visuals look nice, but definitely not up to what they should be. It looks like the same jump in graphics that Halo 2 had over Halo: Combat Evolved. Except this time it's on a brand new system, so what's the excuse? Granted this is only the beta, but I hope they get to work on polishing the visuals in the 4 short months they have.

So far, only the lighting is really that detailed. Halo 3 needs to deliver with Visuals, not just gameplay.

ANYWAYS....*ahem* If i was somehow rich and can afford an XBOX 360...(elite..its black<3)...then maybe i'd go for z game....maybe....wana beat my friends in it....having been playing in the gaming world for awhile...........
