Absolute Anime

Just wondering if anyone reads Western comics as well as manga? Hmm I am interested in the civil war series-

If anyone reads this (I know there are very few that do read American comics) Please let me know, im interested in learning more about the series. I know where I can acquire back issues but I am mainly waiting for the Trade to come out. Thanks.

Actually they have been coming out... It might not be in one huge book, but they group acording to title... Like Wolverine's will have all his Civil War issues in one book and Spidey will have another. Right now I'm saving because I found the ENTIRE run of the WildC.A.T.S in a single book....

I heard about wild C.A.T.S The art is pretty good. As for the civil war series I already know they have been coming out, for a long while actually. I just wanted to know if anyone read them before they came out with character by character books because im interested in the series.

have you read Ironman house of M?

i friend of mine has a bunch of them and says there pretty good
so im going to check them out

I only paid partial attention to the House of M run... The Age of Apocalypse run was 10 times better in my opnion. I did like to Logan and Mystique pair up they did for that though...

Mmmm Marvel universe, I have two otaku friends who are experts in their respective fields (ie, Movies and Western comics, me being the "Anime Otaku") and have been having minor updates in the Civil War and I know about it is um....Tony Stark is a douche...^_^

Nah he is a million dollar play boy with a bad ass armored suit that can shoot repulsor rays out his hands, among other things. Sorry to disappoint but I do respect you for sharing your opinion.

Humph, wasn't it him who started the Civil war? I mean, I understand, He's totally f-ing cool, but I was told he was a douche bag... either way everyone is out to get him, Hulk, Spiderman, a lot of super heroes.

I just got all issues of house of M, the series is really good actually. I am on house of m Excalibur Volume 3. I will also acquire Civil war soon.


On another note I read the first 2 volumes of Hulk war planet and I was disappointed..

Of course I read Comics same as manga.

These are the comic's I currently read.

Marvel: World War Hulk and its Crossovers, Mighty Avengers & New Avengers

DC: Countdown To Final Crisis, JSA, JLA, Teen Titans, Outsiders, (just bought Action Comics with Geoff John's as a writer), Countdown To Adventure, Black Adam, Metal Men, booster Gold, the flash, superman/batman, GREEN LANTERN, Green Lantern Corps & Brave and the bold.

As for Civil War, it kicked @$$, I want to get the paperback but it was sold out and was ordered so I am waiting to buy it.
