Well I've heard some claim the WD-M01/System-A99 Turn A Gundam is the most powerest, I have never seen it in action myself.

So I'd say the GX-9901-OX Gundam double X ranks up there. With it's twin anti-satellite cannons, now that's fire power.

Though I favor the Gundam F91 with it's beam shield and twin variable speed beam rifles. Smaller that the other Gundams and a whole lot faster as well. Plus is has a shadow imager system which creates after images that have mass, so hitting it is no easy thing.

In what way do you consider the Strike a waste. It started like all Gundam's start as a basic test model. Only later designers realize what can be done on such a mobile suit's chassis that you see more advanced models. The fact that Kira was able to use the Strike up to the point he did was not only a credit to his skills but the basic versatility of the Strike.

Look at how some mobile suits are made for special tasks. These are tasks at which they should excel at, but when taken out of their element they perfom poorer than usual. You know the rule, Over specialization breeds in weakness.

Though I wonder. If you look at the Strike and the Duel in their original forms, minus the styleized armor. Their weapons load is almost the same. This makes me wonder if the Duel could use the same weapon packs that the Strike could. They were both a pretty basic general use Gundam mobile suit.
