Saw the movie, haven't read the books yet. The movie was hilarious!

Since this is a movie, and since we have no book forums, this will be moved. Btw, I haven't checked this out yet, is it any good?

The movie wasn't as good as it looked in my opinion.

The movie was funny. I think that Jim Carry was the perfect choice to play Count Olaf.

i loved the books!!! but i haven't seen the movie yet im planning on getting it on dvd

the movie wasnt quite good, i felt like falling asleep in some parts but my dad loved it so much. the books are really good some are really depressing though, im on the 6th at the moment.

The movie story was good, but Jim Carrey is the worst, overeacting. It's an ok movie. I haven't read the book yet, I'll try 2 borrow some books at my classmate.

I think Jim Carrey was great as Count Olaf. The real Count Olaf overeacts and does litrally anything to get their money, so Jim Carrey is great for the part. Once you read the books i think you will understand.

i liked the the movie but the books were so much better then the movie.

my fav was violer because she's smart and i wish i was.

i read all the books except book 12 and 13 but i was dissapointed in the movie cos there this that were realy different from the books but it was still good

I liked the movie, I have the DVD. I think the books were meant for children. My favorite characters are Violet and Sunny.

I like the books. They're excellent sources of amusement. However, I despise the movie. The only good thing about it is Jim Carrey's portrayal of Count Olaf, who's, BTW, my favorite character from A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Would anyone like to see LS: SoUE as a tv show?
