What specefic popular rock songs, made by mainstream artists, do you thnk can fit in anime? For example:
In the ending moments of Evangelion, perhaps Coldplay's Speed of Sound song would be cool. Or in Rurouni Kenshin, perhaps the Weezer song Peace could fit appropriately. What do you think?

well didnt the pillow pretty much make FLCL i mean that it was good, but without the pillows playing in the back ground you didnt realy get that FLCL feal well that i my opinion any way

Evangelion has the most beautiful soundtrack ever. It doesn't need any rock song. "Komm, Susser Tod" is divine enought.
But, yes, there are many rock songs that fits in other anime...especially in anime like Trigun.

Well I'm not to sure about ALL modern rock, however, I was watchin a DVD of DBZ and it had music videos...And Vegeta Had "In the end" by linkin park, as the song for his video..AND IT FIT!
