Anime Description: Fruits Basket
Tohru Honda is a first year high school student when her mother dies, leaving her alone. Tohru chooses to live with her paternal gandfather, but when she sees that he is having house problems, she decides she doesn't want to burden him and begins to live in a tent in the forest. Tohru only wants to finish high school to make her mother proud. It turns out the land Tohru is staying on belongs to the Sohma family.
Yuki Sohma is the most popular boy in Tohru's school. When the Sohma's discover her tent they invite her to come live with them, and Tohru agrees as long as she is able to repay their kindness with her housekeeping skills. Through an accident, Tohru discovers that the Sohma family is cursed to turn into an animal from the Chinese zodiac when embraced by the opposite sex. Tohru quickly grows close to the family, and they become dear friends to her. Tohru struggles to keep the Sohma family secret and learn more about the family, but this may cause her much pain.

i dont understand why you guys stopped it
at episode 26 , you should of continue i
wish to see what happens from there seeing
tohru and yuki together is mostly what i
desire to see , and to see kyo and kagura
together as well . i think tohru and yuki should
be in a relationship in episde 27 ( please make
more episodes ) . i think they both really like
each other but not showing it , please let them
be together , they make such a cute couple
and i hope to see them stay together as well <3
also i hope akito will stop being so mean to his
family , he should be greatful that he has a family
even though it hurts hear he will die , but enjoy
it while it lasts and spend time with tohru because
she truly can change a person :) . please show
your t.v. show "Fruits Basket" in America again
please i would really like to see it in my t.v.
i live in Nevada , Sin city .. please bring your show
up again for everyone to enjoy your show
it will get more popular , please bring it back :DD .

I almost have the entire manga set, just 2 more volumes to go.... I liked the anime, but truthfully since the anime stopped after only somewhere around the 7th volume and didn't even follow that completely (Tohru didn't face Akito like that...) I most definately like the manga version better! I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a second season, far from it! I just will be sad when it ends... ... show more »

Why didn't they continue the series instead of stopping at where tohru finds out about Kyo's second form Some people don't like to read they to watch it instead because you can understand it better if a show
