Notice: Kureno Sohma only appears in the manga, never in the anime series. However, for the sake of completeness, I have decided to include this profile anyway.
Kureno Sohma is the only person that Akito Sohma trusts. He used to be the rooster of the zodiac. He had feelings for Arisa Uotani. He reminds Arisa a lot of Tohru Honda.
As far as loyalty would go, Kureno would go to the ends of the Earth for Akito Sohma. Or he might even go to the bottom of the sea for his dearest Arisa Uotani.

the sparrow couldn't have been Kureno because his curse was broken before Tohru even knew of the curse. however, I think you may be right in the sense that it was meant to symbolize his connection to Akito.

im not sure if im right, but in the anime, in the last episode, a bird is drinking in a mini fountian (or bird bath) and then it comes and sits on Akitos knee, and i know he's a rooster an all, but someone said he's a sparrow, so could that be him?

hey Moon, you can probably get the books from "Borders" or "Barnes & Noble". I found the Fruits Basket books in both, but I bought them from Barnes & Noble. Either one will be fine, I guess. Kureno and Rin and a lot other characters from the manga should've been in the ahime! D:<
