Noah is a young gypsy girl with the power to see into one's heart and soul at a simple touch. She meets Ed at the beginning of the movie when Ed crashes a car with Alphons in it, and asks for a ride from a group of gypsies. Noah touches him, and tells him that he is just like them; he has no home.
Noah doesn't have much of a strong will, and betrays Edward to see Shamballa. She desires to go to where she won't be ridiculed and scorned for being a gypsy, so she can live life freely, but when Edward gets in a ship to go to 'Shamballa', he doesn't take Noah with him.
She is a very confused individual who doesn't understand what Shamballa is or what Ed is going through. All she knows is hurt and loneliness, and is desperate to find a way to Shamballa.

Isn't Noah-chan kind of like the counter part to Rose? That's what one of my friends told me, but I'm still not too sure....

noah dont understand that war and hatred is in both worlds not just hers. and with the military in shamballa its not good. but with hitler in hers its even worse
