Pinako Rockbell lives in Risembool with her granddaughter Winry, who she looks after since her parents were killed in the Ishbal Rebellion. Pinako is also the guardian of Al and Ed as well as Ed's Automail mechanic.
Sporting a height of being shorter then even Edward she is a great Automail mechanic. She is able to make a whole Automail limb in half the time it would take anyone else. It was hinted both in the Anime and the Manga that she was once a rather...crazy person to be around.
Despite her hard looking personality she is really a sensitive person and cares deeply about her granddaughter as well as Ed and Al.
