May Chang is looking for the same thing ling Yao is...immortality. Currently she is accompanying Scar and Yoki. May is Xingese and part of the Chang klan. She travels with a little panda named Shao May which she found when she was younger. She looks up to Edward Elric and sees him as a complete hearthrob until she sees him in real life.
May uses an alchemy that even puzzle Edward and Alphonse. Her "alchemy" starts when she puts knifes on the ground and draws a transmutation circle. She can use it to heal wounds or use it the same way most of the characters in the series do.
When Edward got out of Gluttony's stomach with Ling and Envy, May Chang appeared with Scar. Overall, May is like a regular little girl who lives in a world filled with sciences, art, and war.

May and Alphonse make a cute couple too :) At 1st May liked Edward and so wanted to meet him from the rumors she had been hearing about him with her funny lil daydreams of him we saw in one of the episodes lol but now not so much since she actually met him. I love MAY CHANG - she is so cute and makes Scar seem so much more approachable .I think that May and Alphonse look pretty cute together- him being huge and her being tiny .I have always wanted to do my hair like May Chang .May Chang is so adventurous and AWESOME!
