Character Description: Mika Seido
Mika is a bright girl and subsquently the leading shaft driver pilot amongest the genetically enhanced crew ot the Bilkis. She is often looked down upon because of her "normal" genes. Her dog, Bismarck, is also genetically enhanced intelligence with the ability to communicate with Mika in space via e-mail.
It was during a training accident in which Mika's freind was killed, and she blames Hiroto for her death. The truth is that she shot herself in the head in order to save Hiroto, because they where running out of air, and her her last request was for Hiroto to meet Mika, because they met once as children. Mika and Hiroto had forgotten, but Ryoko remenbered. This leads to a very cold relationship between the two as the series begins, but at the end she forgives him and ends up in love with him.
