Yoichi Taba is the newest agent for Kagura Security. He gets joins Kagura Security without knowing what they really do.
Yoichi Taba doesn't really like the job at first, and continuously tried to find ways to quit. But as time progresses, he begins to enjoy the action, and excitement of the job, and wants to solve the mystery that is the Phantom Cats. At one point, he carried around a book on "How to Write Resignation Letters", which saved his life in a fight with a Phantom Cat.
Yoichi Taba would be the only sane and normal person who works at Kagura Security. He can usually be found complaining about his co-workers.
Yoichi Taba is barely able to take on a Phantom Cat. He is always getting pushed around, beat up, and gets the short end of the stick all the time.
The few times Yoichi Taba gets a day off, he does everything to escape for the day. He leaves his cellphone at the office, goes somewhere he doesn't normally go, and tries to blend in as much as possible. But he is never that lucky. Somehow, he runs into one of the girls from Kagura Security, who quickly grab him, and drag him, literally drag, into a fight with another Phantom Cat. So, in other words, Yoichi Taba never gets a day off.
All the girls at Kagura Security seem to have taken a liking to Yoichi Taba, especially Yuka, the president and boss of Kagura Security. But he comes to like them all as friends.
