Kazuya Shibuya, also known as Naru, is the president of Shibuya Psychic Research. Unlike the other characters, Naru seems to have no spiritual powers. Instead, he uses his knowledge and the abilities of his companions in order to solve the cases.
It is hinted that Naru may have some strong psychic powers, though throughout the show it is unclear whether he does or not. He seems cold but in actuality he really does care about those around him.
In the last episode of the series, Naru saves everyone with his own spiritual powers. Though it does not go into any detail about what he is exactly or what his powers are in name or what they can do besides destroy something, he does have them. He just keeps them hidden and prefers not to use his powers.

what but i thought that mai was really in love with naru and when she told him he said it was gene but then he left then mai actully thought after a while she was in love with gene but then she realized again she loved naru

Naru isn't in love with Mai. Did anyone read the novel? That was what this was based on. Mai thought she was in love with Naru but she was really in love with his twin brother Eugene...who is dead, but kept showing himself as a spirit to Mai.
