Last I checked, this anime was available on DVD at Anime Nation and Amazon.com, and on VHS at Amazon.com.

It is U.C. 0080. The One Year War is almost over, and the Zeon are making their final attacks in space. We pick up on a base, where we see the first Hy-Goggs come into play. They lauch a big suprise attack on the base, trying to find and destroy these new equipment parts for a new Gundam, the RX-78-NT1 Gundam. They find the crates being loaded on to a ship that is taking off.

We find Al walking home from school, when two Zakus jump out and attack. One of them is destroyed, the other, with Bernie, is hit, but lands in a field about two miles out of town. He finds Bernie and helps him out of the Mobile Suit he was in. From here on in, Al sides with the Zeon, spying on the laboratory in his town, hiding under a civilian cover.
