In 1989, the second Guyver anime was produced. This one was definitely an improvement over the first Armoured Creature Guyver Out of Control because the second one follows the manga very closely. It was originally released in the US by L.A. Hero and US Renditions. It was later re-released by Manga Entertainment.
The mysterious Chronos Corporation had three Guyver units stolen from them. High school student Sho Fukamachi accidentally discovers one of them, and after triggering the control metal of Guyver Unit 1, Sho became the Guyver. He must now battle Chronos and its Zoanoids.
