Anime Description: Heavy Metal L-Gaim
Heavy Metal L-Gaim is another one of Yoshiyuki Tomino's classic mecha sagas. The story takes place in the distant Pentagona Star System, which is made up of 5 Planets. The system is under the Iron-fisted rule of Oldna Poseidal, the Emperor of the Planet Gastogal. He has assembled a massive army known the Temple Knights to dominate each planet and ultimately enforce his rule. His final target, the Planet Mizum, also fell under his massive conquest.
However, the planet hides the system's one last hope against this tyranny, the powerful combat mecha called "L-Gaim." Under the guard of the Yaman clan, L-Gaim is hidden along with their heir Kamon Myroad. Fifteen years later, Kamon grows up under the alias Daba Myroad. He becomes the pilot of the L-Gaim and ultimately leads a rebellion to free the planets of the Pentagona system from Poseidal's domination.
