Yori and Iku are twins are very close, but Yori has never seen Iku as just his sister. They were always together as children. As teenagers, Iku has noticed that her big brother was acting harsh to her and was trying to stay away from her. Iku is confused by his behavior. Yori was trying to hide the fact that he was in love with his sister. This forbidden love has caused sleepless nights for him (Yori and Iku share a room with bunk-beds).
Yori applied for a boarding school in another city to try and get over Iku. He even had a fling with Iku's best friend! When Iku started to talk about having a boyfriend and going on dates, Yori confessed his love for his sister. Iku realizes that she loves her brother that way. Some incest comes in. It's not really graphic though. Iku wants to be happy with her brother and is willing to do anything about it.

There not really related if you read the manga you get hints about Iku and a family friends daughter end up getting switched when they were babies

there was only 1 episode which is sad. i have to say the manga is decent enough to read but its just not the same without the voices and the animation.

Fire loves Ice it's said that any offspring of anyone of parent-child, sibling, or first cousins can be born with much too similiar chromosomes. Basically a 'love' child can carry a diease because the DNA from both parents are too much alike and it may not sync correctly. Like how two different people create a child who may have it's father's eyes and it's mother's hair color.
And to Twilight-Ghost I believe that it means that Yori is Iku's older twin brother. Yes, they're twins but one has to have come first and that so happened to be Yori. ... show more »
