Character Description: Kohaku
Kohaku is Sango's younger brother. Kohaku and the rest of his village was called to a castle to exterminate a Spider Demon. Naraku took over Kohaku's mind and killed his father. He is now Naraku's unwiling slave. Sango has promised to save him.
In episode 153, Kohaku regains his memories, and he now wants to kill Naraku, even if it kills him. But he can't reveal any of this to Sango, because Naraku WILL kill him.
I'm told Kohaku's name means "amber" in Japanese.
Editor's Note:
I'm told that in the episode where Kohaku dies (or possibly the episode prior) it is stated that he was 11 years old. Apparently his father said something along the lines of "Now that you're 11 you can come with the us the demon exterminators" right before they went to exterminate a spider demon that was being controlled by Naraku. I'm also told, however, than an official Takahashi newsletter gives Kohaku's age as 12 years old at the time of death. If you have additional information, please contact me.

To nado 13579: Kohaku does come back to life without the Shikon jewels! It happens in the new series of Inuyasha : The final act I think it was episode 19. You should try watching this season of Inuyasha it is soo cool no doubt about that!!!!

Kohaku is such a cute kid its sad that he died :(
He didn't deserve to die .. he was an innocent kid.
Its a good he was brought back to life thanks to the Shikon jewel shard :)

It's #160 and the only reason he stays loyal to Naraku is so that he can get close to the infant and kill him. Btw he's got his memory back and knows who Sango is but he can't tell her because the poisonous insects are watching him.

Kohaku is so cute. He cares for Sango. In like # 158 Kohaku is not controlled any more but he doesn't want Kagura and Naraku to know because they might kill him. Now hes going to try to kill naraku to avenge all the deaths Kohaku has done because he was being controlled by that [censored] Naraku. I hope he succeeds!
