Character Description: Koga
Kouga is the leader of the Wolf Clan. He has super speed due to the Shikon Jewel shards he has in his legs. Kouga fell in love with Kagome, and always quarrels with InuYasha because of this.
Kouga was originally a bad guy. His wolves (not Ginta and Hakkaku) killed Rin (before Sesshoumaru restored her). Because of his love of Kagome, who is a human, he turned into a good demon, and helps InuYasha and his group in their quest for Naraku.
He got accidentally engaged to Ayame, a wolf demon from the mountains, when he saved her as a child and promised her marriage to keep up her spirits. Ayame is now grown and is holding Kouga to his promise.
I'm told Koga's name means "steel fang" in Japanese.
Koga's Age
I was told that Koga states his age in the series, but then I was told by someone else that he does not. Perhaps this differs between the US and Japanese versions. If you know precisely where he states his age, please contact me.

Its soo funny whenever Koga is flirting with Kagome its hilarious also it makes Inuyasha annoyed so he threatens to kill him sometimes. Because of the fact that Inuyasha loves Kagome whenever Koga is badly injured and Kagome goes to help he gets jealous because he doesn't want her to help that ''mangy wolf'' that's what Inuyasha would say right about now. He loves Kagome but he doesn't want to admit it id say he needs to tell her how he really feels and come out and say it!!! ... show more »

To be totally honest, i think Kouga is really annoying. He doesnt get the fact that kagome dont like him and he needs to back off. If i were Kagome-which im kinda glad im not but totally wish i were-i would have told him to go get a life by now!

I know how Koga feels... Just put Misty in the role of Kagome and Ash Ketchum in the role of InuYasha and it's exactly what I felt as well... Not only that but my mom once told me that I talk like Koga, yet my friends insist in saying that I talk like InuYasha (weird stuff... in my opinion, when I'm angry I talk a lot like Vegeta) but seemingly, out of all the InuYasha characters, Koga seems to reflect me the most. ... show more »

Kibimori Hakkaku and Akubo Ginta are the names of the two followers from the pack left over when the rest of them were destroyed. And no, the age is not stated, some people just want it to be.
