Toutousai is the legenday swordsmith who forged InuYasha and Sesshomaru's swords, Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga. He is old and somewhat forgetful, which results in him getting punched by InuYasha, Kagome, and Miroku.
He can breathe out fire and hit things with his hammer. He manages to save InuYasha a few times, and even teaches InuYasha the secret of breaking barriers.
I was told that an offical Takahashi newsletter game Totosai's age as 267 years old. However, someone else then told me that he is said to be 1000 years old. If you can provide additional information about this, please contact me.
