Character Description: Tombo
Tombo is one of the first friends that Kiki made while arriving in Koriko. He is obsessed with aviation and even has an aviation club. He and his friends start to build an airplane out of a bicycle, which was only part way finished when he destroyed it while taking Kiki for a ride. That was after she couldn't come to his party at the clubhouse because she got sick.
Tombo seems to be one of the rich popular kids in town because he is friends with the same rich girls that were sneering at Kiki. Later on, they become nicer to Kiki when she saves Tombo from falling to death from the dirigible.
At one point, Tombo reveals to Kiki that he wishes that he was born into a witch family so that he could fly on a broomstick.

I love Tombo he is so cute and smart! The first time Tombo saw Kiki he was amazed to see a which in his town since the people there haven't seen one in years! Tombo likes anything to do with flying so seeing a flying broomstick must of been an amazing sight to see for him!
