Coo is one of the three animals that live in Dreamland and travels by air. He loves to help others and offers them tips in order to keep them happy. He at one time warned Tokkori not to go into Whispy Woods, and at another time he helped the others save the oldest tree in the woods, Acore.

In the games, Coo is able to help Kirby fly farther and can fly against strong winds like an eagle. His feathers are colored gray in Kirby's Dreamland 3.
