Chef Kawasaki is the owner of a restaurant in Cappy Town. He is the student of the world-famous Chef Shitake, and he is a great chef. His best friend is another great chef, namely, Chef Nagoya. Too bad King Dedede doesn't like his food!
Kawasaki makes a good helper for Kirby when there's bad guys that try to wreck a restaurant. The Chef tosses his frying pan to Kirby , which sucks it up to become Cook Kirby so he can battle bad food-making goons like Popon, Cobgoblin, Mou Takusan, and Monsieur Goan.
