Last I checked, this anime was available on DVD at Amazon and Anime Nation.
Kyou Kara Maoh is basically about a 15 year old boy named Yuuri who, one day after trying to save his friend from some bullies, got stuck with them and they turned end up trying to give him a SWIRLY!
Fortunately, Yuuri got transported to another world to find that he became the Maoh (Demon King) of the land because of how he has dark eyes, dark hair, and he's wearing his school uniform. Well, while he's there he meets lots of weird people and also somehow he gets engaged to a GUY! But somehow i think thats the least of his worries.
Well, anyway, this is sorta a shonen-ai (gay romance) so if don't like DON'T WATCH!
Kyo Kara Maoh (or God(?) Save Our King! in the U.S.) is a shounen series about a 15 year old high school student named Yuri Shibuya. He considers himself a normal boy who loves baseball. Then, one day when he sees Ken Murata, an old classmate, being bullied, Yuri steps up and saves Ken, but as a result ends up being taken to the girls restroom and flushed down a toilet bowl into another world. He was then informed that he was suppose to be throned as the new Maoh (Demon King). Now, he must save this world from war and create peace and harmony between Mazuko (Demons) and Humans.

I love Kyo Kara Maoh, one of my most favorite shows to watch and it's funny as hell
Wolfram is my favorite character and it's funny when he gets sea sickness

Dude, its so totally a shounen-ai, if you can't pick up the hints then you're completely blind, just about every guy in the series has the hots for Yuri, and though he might be against this at first, he slowly begins to warm up to Wolfram. They even kiss in the OVA. You can't honestly say to me that this is a 'straight' anime can you? ... show more »

The anime isn't shonen-ai at all. Maybe the manga but not the anime. NHK censored it. They didn't even let some of the detailes from the manga stay. There are now 3 seasons in Japan each having 39 episodes for a total of 117 episodes. It has not been scheduled for a fourth season due to the viewers so-called "lack of enthusiam". There is however a petition for a fourth season. The first 78 episodes have been translated to English already.
Also, there's a typo. The Japanese term for demon tribe is Mazoku (ma-demon, zoku-race) ... show more »
