Character Description: Isamu Dyson
Isamu is the main character in Macross Plus. As a member of the U.N. Spacy, there are only two things he loves and those are Myung and flying. He is a kamikaze, edge of your seat pilot that loves taking his plane to the extreme. He refuses to raise in military rank so that he can still fly. He flies like a mad man because he wants to see the light when your on the edge between life and death.
In Macross Plus, Isamu is chosen to be a test pilot because he is not afraid to take a plane to its limits, and that was the only thing that the army would allow him to do. His first day on the job, he runs into a former best friend named Guld. They are now pitted against each other with a testing competition, where Isamu is testing the prototype YF-19 fighter and Guld is testing the prototype YF-21.
