Remember when Dorothy sees Ginta a second time and she lets them go to the sleeping princess? Well, we only see the face of a creature. During the war games, her first opponent was a chess piece named Maira. She grabs the arm that has Toto from a dimension arm called Zipper. Zipper is where Dorothy stores all of her rare arms.
Maira's arm, Vaqua, tried to envelop Toto, but Toto ate Vaqua. I don't know if Toto can talk in the anime but in the manga, it does because when Dorothy asked how was it, Toto responded, "Actually, it was awfully gooey and it tasted terrible." I guess Dorothy wanted it, but after calling Toto a stupid dog, she said that it was such a nasty thing. Toto is one of Dorothy's favorite arms.
After Dorothy won, she tells Maira, "'Fraid I'm not nice like the others. Just so you remember you fought the witch Dorothy. Toto EAT HIM." Toto eating Maira was the first chess casualty. Also does this arm remind you of a certain book? If it doesn't, then you have probably never read or even seen a movie called The Wizard of Oz.
