Monster tells the story of the famous Brain Surgeon Dr. Kenzou Tenma. He had it all, fame, riches, a beautiful wife and a reputation for being the best at his work. A promising career lay ahead of him.
However, Tenma became disenchanted at hospital politics and one day decides to save the life of a young boy over a mayor. As a result, he nearly lost everything. The support of the hospital director, his status, and also his own wife.
Tenma's life seemed to be falling apart, until one day the hospital director and all the doctors that replaced him are mysteriously murdered. Even worse is that Tenma becomes the main suspect and the boy he saved earlier was much more than he had appeared to be. Now Tenma must investigate to find the real "Monster" responsible for the murders and ultimately clear his name.

MONSTER is one of my fave manga/anime!!!!! It was so good! And the ending was great!!! I couldn't believe it!!!! I wonder if there will be more...?

Monster is a wonderfully crafted anime. Suspenseful, intelligent. It keeps it's viewers on the edge of their seats, waiting eagerly for the next part of the ride. It's brilliant, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something that keeps you thinking - Death Note, eat your heart out.

Oh my God i love Monster, Dr.Tenma & Johann there both sooo sexy. Eva...so stupit she has no idea what she through away, he's to good for. & Johann so beautiful so twisted i love him!! . Dr .Tenma so sweet so smart & gentle.

My favorite character is Eva because I want her to see the error of her ways and redeem herself for what she's done to Dr. Tenma. After that, it's Grimmer, Dieter, Tenma, and the beautiful Anna/Nina.
