Chiyo is a ninja from the Village Hidden in the Sand. She is the one that informs the Hidden Leaf Village that Gaara had been taken. Chiyo fights along side Sakura and saves her when she is close to death.
Later when they found Gaara dead, Naruto freaks out and starts yelling at Chiyo, stuff like "you can save him", "he is my friend", and "he is the only one who understands". She uses a forbidden healing jutsu to revive him but later we would lean it kills her.
