Character Description: Menma
Menma is only around for three episodes. Naruto finds him unconscious laying on a rock in a river while he is looking for bamboo shoots for ramen. Naruto brings him back with him. Turns out he had amnesia.
Tsunade gets mad when she finds out. She says if he is going to stay he will live with Naruto. Naruto promises he will share some of the ramen with Menma. Later, Naruto and Menma is sent with Neji and Tenten to see if they could find out who Menma is.
You then learn that he was a bandit that tried to erase his memories, and from the start he had know who he is. He is killed saving the village. Before he dies he gives Naruto his flute.
When the ramen is made he puts a bowl in front of the flute.
Note: We never learn his real name but Naruto gives him the name Menma because he was looking for bamboo when he found him. Menma means Bamboo.
