Character Description: Sakumo Hatake

Sakumo Hatake is the deceased father of Kakashi Hatake. He has been given the alias "White Fang of Konoha" and seems to be an enemy of Granny Chiyo's son. As Minato Namikaze puts it, Sakumo was once respected as much as the Legendary Sannin before "the incident" where Sakumo rescued his comrades who were in danger and left the mission at hand.

This caused great damage unto Konohagakure. Everyone eventually started to slander him and blamed him for everything. Even the very comrades he had saved started to turn against him. This whole ordeal made Sakumo suffer and his mind and body started to deteriorate and he committed suicide. He had given his signature weapon, The White Light Blade, to his young son, Kakashi. After seeing his father like that, Kakashi has stuck to the rules and regulations of the shinobi.
