Last I checked, this anime was available on DVD at Amazon and Anime Nation.
Imagine the Blues Brothers as an anime done by Shinichi Watanabe, who was responsible for the Excel Saga anime, and you've imagined Nerima Daikon Brothers!
Hideki spends his days farming daikon (basically a long white radish), but he has a dream of building a stadium on his daikon field where he, his childhood pal Ichiro, and his sexy cousin Mako can perform concerts.
In order to do that they need money. They also have to deal with assorted troublemakers (luckily they can go to a rather particular rental shop to get whatever items they need to handle the situation). But no matter how many times they manage to get a hold of cash, they can't seem to hold on to it, needless to say.
In every episode, every character breaks out into song. Yep, it's screwy, but somehow,it works!
