Mireille Bouquet is a professional assassin for hire who has left her past behind. Kirika Yumura is a girl who has lost her past, but knows only that she is an assassin called "NOIR", one of the most feared assassins in the world. They team up to make a pilgrimage to the past to find Kirika's memory under the name NOIR. Together, they travel around the world, being hired to kill and hoping to find the answers they seek.
