Makino is the bartender who serves Shanks his alchohol. She only ever laughs when Luffy gets teased and is a close friend of Shanks.
Makino is only ever seen in Luffy's flashback, which takes place in Episode 1 of the Japanese version but in Episode 4 of the North American 4Kids edited TV version.

makino is my favourite one piece character
id like to see them have the navy take her and force her into the storyline by, for instance, setting a trap for luffy.
Make her a temporary character on one of the arcs : D
