Absolute Anime

Kaoru and Hikaru are identical twins that attend Ouran High School. Their uniform is a lilac blazer, white shirt, black pants, and a black tie with one purple stripe down the middle. They come from a wealthy family, as their mother is a top fashion designer and their father is a travelling businessman.

Of the twins, Hikaru is a little older and a bit more in control of their yaoi-like acts. Before their "customers" with the host club, Hikaru tends to heal the little things from Kaoru, his twin brother, by giving off the famous brotherly love look to make the girls awe. In most of these situations, even not in public, Hikaru is, as Haruhi says, "one level rougher" than Kaoru. He is pretty possessive of both his brother and Haruhi. Although together, these twins are the Little Devil Type and love to be mischeivious together! It's hard to tell them apart.

When the twins were younger, they never let anyone into their 'world' because no one could honestly tell them apart and it upset them. They kept to themselves until Tamaki offered them to help him create the Host Club. Now, they're always outgoing and love to torture Tamaki by playing with their respected "toy", Haruhi.

Note: Later on in the manga (chapter 52, page 19), Hikaru dyes his hair a dark ash color.

Hikaru Hitachiin is the older Hitachiin twin. He and his younger twin, Kaoru, are members of the Ouran High School Host Club, a club of six wealthy, handsome guys dedicated to bringing "fortune" to girls. They are classified in the club as the "Little Devil" type and are both extremely obnoxious. Together, they put on an incestuous act that is a big hit with the girls that they host. However, Hikaru, as described by Haruhi (another member) is a notch meaner than Kaoru. Hikaru can be angered easily and sometimes has problems showing his emotions in a civilized manner.

He and his brother have always been together and in their own little world. Before they joined the Host Club when they entered High School, they did not care about or interact with anybody else around them and considered things to either be in 'their world' or 'everybody else's world'. The first real intruders in their world are Tamaki Suoh, the "king of the host club" that invited them, and Haruhi Fujioka.

Hikaru and Kaoru both enjoy toying around with Haruhi in order to annoy and manipulate Tamaki, who has a crush on her. However, in the process Hikaru does begin to develop a small crush on Haruhi and in some situations can be fairly possessive.

Hikaru is a first-year student at Ouran High School (Freshmen), and the older of the Hitachiin brothers.

Hikaru is generally a very nice person, but doesn't easily accept others into his and his brother's lives. The first that they have naturally accepted into their lives is Haruhi, with whom they can trust. Hikaru has definitely begun liking Haruhi as more than a friend.

Hikaru tends to be a bit rash at times, and is very selfish, considering he's barely ever been forced to share because of his (and his brother's) lack of friends throughout all of elementary and middle school. This is why he can also become very jealous with no notice.

Kaoru and Hikaru can both be very mischievous at times, playing out elaborate plans to trick people into getting what they want. They will go to almost any lengths to achieve this goal.

Hikaru Hitachiin and his younger, identical twin brother Kaoru are the "Little Devil Type" of the Host Club and are in the same class as Haruhi. They awe the girls with their 'brotherly love' scenarios, which consist of borderline incest lines and poses.

Hikaru and Kaoru are as close as they can be for not be attached at the hip, and before joining the Host Club they stayed in their own world of "Us" vs. "Them". One of the games they've played since grade school is the "Which one is Hikaru-kun" game, where the player has to identify which of the brothers is Hikaru. The pair are easily bored and enjoy manipulating people for entertainment, especially Tamaki (by flirting with Haruhi).

Haruhi is one of the only people they've met who can distinguish the two apart (to make it easier, their hair is parted oppositely, Hikaru on his right and Kaoru on his left).

Hikaru is bad at controlling the anger he feels when Haruhi talks with or about old friends as it's a reminder that he and Kaoru had only each other for so long and this anger is shown in great force in episode 16.
