Absolute Anime

Mitsukuni Haninozuka is a senior attending Ouran High with Takashi and Satoshi Morinozuka, who are also his cousins, and with his younger brother, Yasuchika Haninozuka. But he and Satoshi are in the junior high division of Ouran. For some reason, Yasuchika has a grudge against his own brother.

He's the loli-shota type host in host club. He joined the club with Takashi because Tamaki Suoh asked Hunny-senpai to help him create the Host club. And yet, he attracts many clients with his cute and adorable act. Both in anime and manga, flowers would appear every time he talks. He maybe cute and small, but he's pretty strong since he was a middle school champion in karate and judo (seen in episode 7).

Mitsukuni has a sweet tooth for cakes and anything sweet. It is said that if he doesn't eat sweets for several days, he'll be one cranky host (as seen in episode 12). And also, if you wake him up during his nap times, you'll regret it, like when the atomic bomb explodes a mushroom cloud would appear... well, if it's Honey-senpai it would be a bunny-like cloud (also seen in episode 12).

He always brings his stuffed rabbit. It was made by his deceased grandmother and so he cherished it a lot and he calls it "Bun-Bun", and the ironic part is he doesn't like carrots much. Hunny-senpai doesn't like to hurt or be mean to others, but what he likes are giving hugs, taking naps, snack times and loves everybody in host club. In fact, he calls the hosts with the "-chan" at the end of their names like Haru-chan for Haruhi, Tama-chan for Tamaki and so on.

If he's upset, worried or uneasy about something, he goes to Takashi to rely on. Mitsukuni might be probably the only one who calls Mori-senpai by his first name.

Hunny-senpai probably knows that Takashi is following the tradition of the Morinozuka family serving the Haninozuka Family. Like Hikaru said, the servant-relationship between the two should have been dissolved already after a marriage blended the two families, two generations ago.

One time, he threw Mori-senpai right across the music room for not giving him at least a small portion of sweets during his cavities (episode 12).

He knew right away that Haruhi was actually a girl.
