Dani was the girl in Pokemon Crystal. She first appeared on the Pokemon Crystal: Raikou's Legend of Thunder. In the U.S., this was first shown as part of the Pokemon Chronicles spinoff series.

This was where Eusine and Jackson (Junichi in Japanese, Vincent in the UK) first appeared, then were shown again in some later Jhoto Pokemon episodes.

In England, Dani is called Marina, and they did get to see Raikou's Thunder.
