Absolute Anime

Jigglypuff (Purin) is a cute pink puff ball creature whose sweet lullaby has the power to lull enemies to sleep (much to her annoyance...). In the anime, Ash and company try to help it sing to an audience who won't fall asleep, but fail no matter how hard they try. In the game, Jigglypuff can be found in grassy patches around Mt. Moon. Its design is somewhat similar to Nintendo's Kirby, pink and, of course, kawaii.

Jigglypuff's #39 in a Kanto Pokedex. Its first stage is a Pokemon called an Igglybuff. It evolves into Jigglypuff by treating it with love and care. It will later evolve into Wigglytuff using a Moonstone.

In the Manga Special (the manga that focuses on the games), Blue, a thief and Masked Child, owns a Jigglypuff that she calls "Jiggly". Her partner (love interest), Silver (rival in G/S/C) owns a Sneasel.

Jigglypuff is also in many battle games, like Super Smash Bros. In both versions (64 and Melee) it is a character that must be unlocked.

Jigglypuff is a Normal Type Pokemon, the type that's only weakness is a Fight Type.
