Max is May's little brother. They are both the children of gym leader Norman. Max doesn't have a Pokemon yet, but is looking forward to getting one. He knows an almost excessive amount about the Pokemon world, and has watched many battles so even though he has never left home, he knows almost more than an experienced trainer. He is traveling with May, Ash, and Brock on their Pokemon journey.

Well, actually I bet my team can match yours. My team all has stats ABOVE the stat cap(Which is 999). They have infinite AP so they don't get tired. Aha, pwned.
