Norman isn't a total main character. Therefore, his name isn't really mentioned anywhere. He is, in fact, a Gym Leader. In the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire VIDEO GAMES, he's YOUR dad. In the Pokemon SERIES, he's May and Max's dad.
