Sabrina is a scary psychic girl who was had no friends because of her psychic powers. She did, however, become the Saffron City gym leader and proved herself a worthy opponent for Ash.
Of all the Kanto gym leaders, Sabrina was the most fearsome because of her ability to turn humans into dolls. Before Ash bested her, she carried a doll that represented the side of her that wanted to make friends, or her soft side. But after Haunter made Sabrina laugh, Sabrina turned back to a normal girl. Sabrina's specialty of Pokemon is Psychic Types, like Kadabra.
In the manga, Sabrina is a ex-member of Team Rocket, like Koga and Lt.Surge. She worked with blue and the others to defeat the Elite Four.
