Anime Description: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness
This story focuses around a boy who is turned into a Piplup. The story begins with his soon-to-be best friend Chimchar who is nervous about entering into the world famous Wigglytuff Guild. Just as Chimchar was about to enter into the building itself, he heard a loud "Yoom-tah" and ran away. Chimchar ran onto the beach where he tripped over a Piplup.
At first the Chimchar thought the worst, and tried to get Piplup awake. Afterwards, Piplup was startled by the fact that Chimchar could talk. Chimchar told Piplup that he was doing some weird "Piplup Humor". Chimchar asked Piplup to join him on an exploration squad. At first, Piplup refused, but Chimchar told Piplup that maybe the Guild Master Wigglytuff could explain everything that may have happened.
When they tried to enter the guild, a Diglett yelled, "Intruder alert!" A Corphish, Sunflora, and Loudred came to greet the two heroes. They were forced to explain everything to the guildmaster. Piplup explained the fact that he was a human in front of everyone in the guild and all were shocked except the Guildmaster Wigglytuff, who was asleep (with his eyes open!).
Eventually, the two heroes became apprentices at the guild. Their first mission was to get a Gabite scale from Labyrinth Cave for a Shinx's sick little sister. Sunflora tags along as well.
