Young San is a proud member of the Wolf Clan. As a child, she was abandoned in the woods by her parents, but Moro, the mother of the Wolf clan, took her in to raise as her own.
San would do anything, even die, to get the humans out of her forest. With the assistance of her two wolf brothers, she sets out to help the Boar Clan defeat Iron Town.

I admire San a lot for not being the helpless female who relies on her male counterpart! She's completely independent, and I like her tough attitude: She does not like Ashitaka right from the start, which is nice. She slowly comes to trust him, even though she retains her wary nature and she definitely does not say cheesy stuff like: I can't live without you. (Actually, she decides to continue living apart in the end.) San's probably one of the best female characters ever! If only there were more like her!!! San rules!! ... show more »

i think she is either 13-14 can't really tell. since she lived with gods however she could be 50-100 years old.
