Anime Description: Robot Carnival

Robot Carnival is the result of 9 of Japan's top animators and a one-word assignment: ROBOTS. It is the collection of the shorts created by these animators, and it has a bit of everyhing. There is tender romance, hardcore action, hilarious comedy, some sympathy, and (of course) robots of every shape and size.

Introduction and Finale (by Katsuhiro Otomo and Atsuko Fukushima)
The Introduction and Finale instill comedy and awesome power, as well as a number of explosive surprises.

Star Light Angel (by Horuyuki Kitazume)
Two young ladies take a trip through the amusement park. For one of them, it'll be a very interesting experience.

Cloud (by Mao Lamdo)
A feast for the eyes as well as a very unusual but touching story.

Deprive (by Hidetoshi Ohmori)
Anyone for high-impact robot action? You won't be disappoined here as a lone robot attempts a daring rescue.

Franken's Gear (by Kouji Morimoto)
The work of a mad scientist to bring his creation to life ultimately becomes an utter disaster.

Presence (by Yasuome Umetsu)
One of the more-touching works, and one of only two with voice roles. A man's secret work of love seeks its own presence and desires to return his love...and it scares him.

A Tale of Two Robots (by Hiroyuki Kitakubo)
This is the giant robot portion of our program. Hold on tight and get ready for the fight of the 19th century (with plenty of humor thrown in)!

Nightmare (by Takashi Nakamura)
A robotic artist turns the city into its canvas, and a poor commuter is caught in the middle.
