When Conrad first appears he is seen as a young man, saving Juliet and Cordelia from being killed by Lord Montague and his men. The next time Conrad is seen is as an older man with grey hair.

Over the fourteen year gap Conrad has become a priest who aids Juliet in her conflicts between her and the Montagues. Conrad is also the grandfather of Antonio.
