Zoisite is deliciously evil, and impatient, and has the wickedest laugh you ever heard!!!! It rocks!!!!! She is also hell bent on revenge, and it gets her killed in the end. She is in love with another general for Beryl, Malachite.
In the Japanese version, Zoisite is actually a gay, feminine male, where as in the English version, they made Zoisite just a straight female. So yes, that also means that Malachite is gay in the Japanese version, and straight in the English version.

The Kunzite and Zoisite relationship wasn't in the original version. And they should have kept it that way. All this rubbish about putting it in there and then changing the latters sex was stupid in my opinion. I think love relationships (of any sort) are inappropriate in childrens TV shows anyway. They are encouraging children to believe they are good and harmless when they commonly result in deadly diseases and domestic violence. Agreed. I hate how homophobic american tv is. I would have loved to see zoicite with kunzite because it was Meant To Be. Now I'm going to have to go watch the sub to get the right effect from the show....

I really cannot stand the fact that America is such a homophobe. I mean is it so wrong? You love whomever you love; it doesn't matter whether the one you love is a man or a woman. So what Zoisite is actually a gay male? The character should have never been changed into a female just because the people in charge of dubbing the series did not want it to be known that Zoisite and Malachite were actually male lovers. *Sighs heavily and shakes my head.* It saddens me greatly that our country claims to be accepting of every view, every way of life, etc. But let it be something as trivial as two men in love with one another and it is unacceptable.
