Character Description: Zoisite
Zoisite is deliciously evil, and impatient, and has the wickedest laugh you ever heard!!!! It rocks!!!!! She is also hell bent on revenge, and it gets her killed in the end. She is in love with another general for Beryl, Malachite.
In the Japanese version, Zoisite is actually a gay, feminine male, where as in the English version, they made Zoisite just a straight female. So yes, that also means that Malachite is gay in the Japanese version, and straight in the English version.

I really cannot stand the fact that America is such a homophobe. I mean is it so wrong? You love whomever you love; it doesn't matter whether the one you love is a man or a woman. So what Zoisite is actually a gay male? The character should have never been changed into a female just because the people in charge of dubbing the series did not want it to be known that Zoisite and Malachite were actually male lovers. *Sighs heavily and shakes my head.* It saddens me greatly that our country claims to be accepting of every view, every way of life, etc. But let it be something as trivial as two men in love with one another and it is unacceptable. Now, I understand this show used to air on T.V and little kids watched it, but still, to change it from its original context is absolutely ridiculous. I heard rumors about her being a gay guy in the jap version but I'm glad they made her a girl. makes more sesne but wtf is the damn baby XD

Zoicite is cool! But it annoys me that in the dub they made him a girl. I think it's sad how he died in Kunzite's arms, and that Queen Beryl intentionnally killed him.

I hate the fact that America changed the show so that no gays or lesbians were in it. It's rediculous! In my opinion it's probably the worst thing they could have done to this show.
