Character Description: Aldebaran
Aldebaran is the gold saint of Taurus. During the confrontation between the Bronze Saints and the sanctuary, he saw the enthusiasm in Seiya, and their potential, and allowed them to pass through his temple.
His friendship with Mu seems to be very close. In the Hades saga, he is a hero, killed by the spectre Deep Niobe but defeated by Taurus also. Mu said that he is the physically strongest saint out of all 88 saints.
In the manga version, Aldebaran bursted his own eardrumns trying to overcome Sorento's song, but it was ineffective.
