A frog-like alien named Keroro is sent from his planet on a mission to conquer Earth. However, Keroro's cover is blown and he ends up being abandoned by his battalion. Eventually he ends up in the home of the Hinata family, in which he is used for household chores and is kept in a dark basement which was formally a prison that holds the ghost of a young girl.

Keroro spends his free time building Gundam model kits. He also manages to run into other subordinates that are stuck on Earth from the failed invasion. Will Keroro finally rise up against those cursed Pokoponians and finally realize his goal of taking over the world?

Probably not. But by the end of this show, you WILL believe frogs can have afros.

Keroro Gunso is a wacky, humorous anime starring a frog-like alien named Keroro who tries to take over the planet Earth (or as they call it, "Pokopen") with the help of the rest of his platoon. Unfortunately for Keroro, his platoon gets separated, and he ends up as a freeloader living in the Hinata household in Japan. With the help of the Hinata family, Keroro goes to search for his missing platoon members and continue their Pokopen invasion!

Keroro does all the chores like taking the laundry and more. Keroro wants to collect Gundam models. Fuyuki loves Keroro very much and he doesn't want to lose him. Natsumi sometimes kicks Keroro when he makes a mistake.
