Character Description: Kyou Ryu
As a Septia, and member of the elite Phantom Clan, Kyou inherited the warrior traditions of her people - in particular, the hunting of the demon beasts terrorizing the kingdom. She is the granddaughter of Jinstra - commander of the Phantoms and brother to the king of Kuruda, Ibas Stora (a.k.a. Hawk's Eye).
Though the rest of the Phantoms were wiped out in battle against the demon beast known as "The King of the Moon," with the aid of Ella Ragu, Gau Ban, and Faury, Kyou was able to avenge their deaths and preserve her grandfathers's honored line.
Kyou's sole weapons are her chu-links - time-honored arms borne by the Septia.
