Queen Aleena is Sonic, Sonia's and Manic the Hedgehog's mother, who had to abandon them so that the prophesy of Dr Robotnik being destroyed could be fulfilled. She speaks at the beginning and end of every episode, and sometimes you can see her face, but other than that she is very secretive.

As an example of an episode you can see her, Sonic, Sonia, and Manic are taken to a place where they rule! But, unfortunately they aren't doing it very well, and villagers are left starving and homeless. When they leave Queen Aleena speaks to them, but you cannot see her body, only her head and hands. When Queen Aleena leaves, Sonic and Manic are staring at the roof still with amazement, and Sonia is crying. All three of them hug and continue on.

Another one you see her at the end, but other then that you hardly see her.
